Mare de Déu de Montserrat 28, El Baix Guinardó, Barcelona
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, located on the Mediterranean coast, is a cosmopolitan city of great cultural and commercial, financial and touristic importance. Barcelona is one of the most visited European cities both by tourists who wish to see the capital, as well as participants in congresses, meetings and all sorts of exhibitions held in the city.
El Baix Guinardó and La Vil·la de Gràcia
El Baix Guinardo is a neighbourhood with its own personality within the Guinardo area. Today it is configured in a similar way to the ‘Ensanche’ area (in the centre of Barcelona) although we can still find passageways and corners that remind us of days gone by when the country homes with their kitchen gardens were predominant. One of the most characteristic green spaces is the Parc de les Aigües (Park of the Waters) although there are also two other big green spaces, namely Parc del Guinardó (Guinardo park) and the emblematic Parc Güell (Park Guell) where you can enjoy the outdoors and nature.
La Vil·la de Gràcia, one of the most emblematic and popular neighbourhoods in the city of Barcelona; it is characterised by its abundant festive and cultural activities, its inhabitants make it very attractive, dynamic. friendly and jolly place. Its squares are quiet and invite you to relax in a street bar, its streets (mostly pedestrian) have innumerable shops to find all sorts of products. Gràcia was a separate town from Barcelona until 1897,when it became part of the city with the Eixample project in the Sagrada Família temple area, and it’s connected with the Baix Guinardó through the Travessera de Dalt and Ronda Guinardo, five minutes away from Plaza Sanllehy and our building.
Our building is located on Avinguda Mare de Déu de Montserrat, next to Plaza Sanllehy, and is located very close to the Alfons X metro station and to the future Line 9 (Plaça Santllehy Stop).
Catalonia has an impressive cultural heritage, with a wide-ranging offer for tourists.
