OUR HISTORY
1959
SR CONSTRUCTORA is born, a result of the merger of two groups of professionals linked to the construction segment. Its objective was to cater for the growing demand for housing at the time, always guided by the criterion of work well done. Important real estate developments are built for sale and rent, bringing together urban areas in Barcelona as well as Sant Andreu, Clot, Horta, in the Metropolitan sphere.
1970
SR CONSTRUCTORA contributes with thousands of public housing as well as private developments during the spectacular economic growth of the 1960s. Large developments are started in Badalona and l’Hospitalet de Llobregat. SR CONSTRUCTORS PROMOTORS was created as a property development group and SR CONSTRUCTORA was specialised in construction work exclusively.
1980
While the large development projects evolve and turn into new neighbourhoods, activities expand with other medium and small sized developments. The main activity is multifamily buildings in urban areas, especially in the area of Barcelona and neighbouring towns. The solidity and good work of the Group enables it to tide over the great crisis of this decade and even come out strengthened.
1990
Single family houses become popular, as a result of new lifestyles. SR CONSTRUCTORS PROMOTORS can easily adapt to the new challenges with successful large scale projects in Sant Quirze, Sabadell and La Roca del Vallès. Without forgetting the construction of houses and offices, diversifying in quality and styles.
2000
Urban interventions intensify and in the new construction activity there are important developments of multifamily buildings in Mataró and single family homes in Vilassar. The company starts integral rehabilitation activities in Barcelona city in all sorts of buildings.
2010
Work on new constructions continue in all developments for sale and in construction. New construction of multifamily houses begin in Barcelona, mainly in the areas of Eixample-Sagrada Família, incorporating new plots of land.
2020
The activity of new construction, multi-family equipped with the latest technology with the energy efficiency seal A is accentuated in Barcelona.
Promotions of detached and single-family semi-detached houses with gardens are being developed in El Vallès and El Maresme.
